The Warrior Ethos

Pete Hegseth strutted into Quantico like a Dollar Store Patton, pounding his chest about his so-called “warrior ethos,” which, if you squint hard enough, is just a Fox News segment stitched together with testosterone and boot polish. In front of hundreds of seasoned generals and admirals, Hegseth declared the end of “woke” culture in the military, bravely taking on the real threats to national security: pronouns, beards, and fat generals. Forget missiles or cyberwarfare—the gravest danger, apparently, is a lieutenant with a goatee and a DEI training certificate.
