Ted Cruz would like America to know that he has finally identified the greatest threat facing Texas: insufficient masculinity.
Appearing on Fox News this week, Cruz mocked Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico by suggesting that “masculine” was not among the first thousand words one might use to describe him. According to Cruz, Talarico would be blown away by a stiff breeze. It was an audacious attack coming from a man whose political brand has long resembled a stiff breeze trying desperately to avoid stronger winds.
