The biggest problems caused by lies are usually not due to the original lie itself, but rather the lies generated to maintain it. Donald Trump has gotten himself into this kind of situation by trying to distance himself from the alleged birthday letter addressed to Epstein. Now, people are no longer wondering if he lied or not, but what else he has lied about.
