Your tax dollars at work

They say time is money, and it’s true—though that money isn’t always spent wisely. It’s disheartening to see the taxes people work hard to pay end up being squandered on the whims of a political elite that uses the money to line its own pockets or distract the public from its abuses rather than ensure better healthcare or education for those who pay for it. A society whose priorities are upside down does not have a bright present, much less a better future.
