Let’s be clear: Pam Bondi’s firing wasn’t because she was evil at her job; it was because she wasn’t evil enough for her boss. Or because she had already outlived her usefulness as a puppet. But no matter who comes next, the underlying problems will continue: the weaponization of the DOJ for the current president’s personal vendettas, the cover-up of the Epstein files… Everything will stay the same—if not get worse—unless pressure from the public and other branches of government grows strong enough to stop it.
