The new book "Original Sin" spells out what we already knew: Joe Biden was not fit to run a second term and should have stuck to his promise of being a "transitional" president. The staffers and Democratic leaders who shielded Biden from live interviews and the public eye are equally to blame. Would an unhealthy Biden have been better than a healthy Trump when it comes to preserving democracy? Absolutely, but that isn't our reality. Here's hoping Biden responds well to his cancer treatment.
