The United States is supposed to be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. However, lately, the gap between the interests of its government and its citizens seems to have widened. A house that undermines its own foundations cannot stand. The foundation of the United States is its people. Therefore, the best way to improve this common house is to care for one another—not to destroy each other and certainly not to try to cover up cruelty with gold, as its current rulers are doing.
