And speaking of things that fall apart… The self-centered triumphalism of MAGA is coming off very badly in the wake of the Iran fiasco. What did the United States gain from all these months of war? Billions of dollars spent on weapons and rising fuel prices. All paid for by American taxpayers. And if we look at the other side… what did the Iranian people—subjected to a brutal theocratic regime—gain? More deaths, more repression, and the promise that the criminal leadership of that government will remain in power indefinitely, thanks to the deal with Trump. Only the Ayatollah is happy with this deal.
