Yes, by law, the DOJ must release “all non-classified” Epstein-related materials by December 19. And yes, Congress has already released its own curated drip-drip of images and emails. But let’s not kid ourselves. The phrase “non-classified” is doing Olympic-level heavy lifting here. Anything remotely embarrassing to Trump or to people he’s protecting will be, and likely already has been, swept behind a “sensitive investigative material” stamp or relabeled as a privacy issue, an ongoing-case exemption, or a national-security concern.
That’s Trump-speak for: You’ll get what we choose to release, peasant.
