Over a month has passed since the government shutdown was declared. This has meant more than a month of unpaid wages, suspended services, canceled flights, and great stress for people in urgent need of healthcare. Meanwhile, there have been huge renovations in the White House and banquets at Mar-a-Lago. I know what you're thinking: "Are there two Americas?" No, there's just one America with VIP service for billionaires and... nothing for everyone else.
