In Norway we use the word "EnkemannsstĂžt" which is the male form of the Swedish one.

I'm Swedish and didn't know this word. Unexpected place to learn a new word in my native language. :)

But do you know why it's called this? It's because it hurts a lot right away, but passes quickly...
Since we're sharing, in Finnish it's kiukkusuoni, i.e. anger-vein.
